At the end of 2019, I was crushed when an @anthropologie jacket sold out while it was in my shopping cart. I’d been looking for that exact jacket for years and I *loved* it. I got online with customer support and asked if they had a waiting list for returns. 40% of women’s clothing purchased online is sent back, after all. 

I knew my black moto jacket would get returned but Anthro didn’t have the tech to connect me to that return. In fact, no one does. (Yet.) And after literally 20 years of dreaming about entrepreneurship (all I do is think of products and businesses that *should* exist) I thought, “THIS IS IT. GO. NOW.” And I did.

I quit a job I loved, built a small team of tech + retail experts and we got to work. What that simple idea evolved into will change returns forever. 

How?
Greenlist™ is a matchmaker for returns. Our patent-pending technology cuts out the middle steps in the current return process (skip the trip back to the store / warehouse / landfill) and sends merchandise directly to a waiting consumer. 

We allow stores to sell their returns BEFORE they become returns.

Consumers demand “free and easy” returns but returns are NOT in fact free or easy. They are expensive for stores and they are damaging to our planet. The volume of online returns has increased by more than 95% in the past five years (CNN Style). Boxes stack up on porches then travel miles and miles and miles. But to where and to whom? And at what cost? 

We need change and we need it now.
